What are your Inn Policies?

Check-in / Check-out:

Arrivals: between 3-8 pm. On your day of arrival, we will text you parking and arrival instructions. If you will be arriving after 8 PM, you will have your check-in instructions right on your phone.

Reservations & Rates:

All rates are based on double occupancy, unless stated otherwise. There is an additional charge of $50 per night for each extra person over 5 years of age. Visa, MasterCard, or AmEx is required for reservation confirmation. A $200 deposit is required to reserve rooms, with the balance payable upon departure. All rates are subject to CT State Room Tax. Gift certificates are available for that special person or occasion.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made by an acknowledged email. Voicemail messages do not constitute cancellation confirmation. We will be happy to return your deposit when applicable, less a $50 administration fee, if you provide more than 7 days' notice of your cancellation. Major holidays or group bookings (3 or more rooms) require 90 days' notice. Within 7 days (or 60 days for group bookings or holidays), you are responsible for the entire reservation charge. However, if we are able to resell ALL nights reserved 24 hours in advance of your check-in date, we will only charge a $50 administration fee.

Cancellations on the day of arrival, "no-shows," or early departures are also responsible for ALL nights reserved. Every guest reservation is both important and special to us, so please understand that our policies are a necessary part of managing a small Bed and Breakfast Inn, and cancellations can affect us significantly. If you are worried about having to cancel for any reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance through a third party for your own financial protection. www.Travelguard.com is one of many companies that offer travel insurance (please note that we are not endorsing any travel insurance companies).

Events have a separate cancellation policy:

A deposit of $300, $500, or $2000, depending on the size of your event, is due at the time of reservation of event space. This deposit is non-refundable 7 days after receipt. The balance is due 30 days prior to your event.

What about Breakfast and do you work with dietary restrictions?

Yes! We can accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, etc.).

Make sure you choose the right option when making your reservation.

You can select a room rate with breakfast or without. Although we are a Bed and Breakfast, we have found that many guests prefer to opt out, so we offer a lower rate if you choose not to have breakfast.

Where do I park?

We have parking on-site for overnight guests only. If you are an overnight guest, please park in the driveway, directly in front of the garage doors. We ask that all guests park as perpendicular as possible to the garage doors.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! We have one pet-friendly room, The River of Dreams. There is a $50 fee per pet for the first night and $35 per night for each additional night.

If you are bringing a pet, you MUST note this in your reservation.
